Islam, You Already Understand?

Islam is the name for a din / religion of truth, religion is blessed by God for His servants. Islam is not just a belief that contains resignation alone without any specific signs such as shari'ah-taught by the Prophet to us, as was claimed by liberal and pluralist.

The proof, in the hadeeth of Jibreel Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam explained that Islam is included; confession / testimony that no god-right-except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish prayer, pay the obligatory zakat, fasting Ramadan, and pilgrimage. Then, where is can be found in these teachings if not in the Islamic religion which is taught by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam?

In another hadith, Ibn Umar radhiyallahu'anhuma of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam also asserts, "Islam is built upon five things: the obligation to mentauhidkan God, establish prayer, pay the obligatory zakat, fasting Ramadan, and pilgrimage." (Narrated by Bukhari no. 8 and Muslim no. 16, these Muslim pronunciation, see Fath al-Bari [1 / 63] and Muslim Syarh [2 / 31]). Based on the history of this hadith can we know also that the term 'monotheism' is not a new term that is not known at the time of the Prophet, even the Prophet himself who taught it to us!

In another narration point-in-still in Saheeh Muslim from Ibn 'Umar was also mentioned, the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "Islam is built upon five things: the obligation to worship Allah alone and deny any god other than Him, establish prayer and pay the obligatory alms, pilgrimage to the deposited, and the fasting of Ramadan. "(see Muslim Syarh [2 / 32])

Based on such arguments that the scholars-among them Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab rahimahullah-defining that Islam is 'submission to God with tauheed, being subject to Him by obedience, and innocent of all polytheism and its adherents' (see Hushul al-Ma'mul, p.. 104). If we look at it is this sense very consistent with the arguments mentioned above.

There is one thing that deserves to be underlined here is that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam use some expressions to mention the creed, namely:
Liabilities tauheed God
The obligation to worship God alone and deny any god other than Him
Testify that there is no god-which is but Allah and Muhammad the Messenger of Allah

Thus, it can be concluded that those who do not meet the three things above, not be called as a Muslim. That is, people who are not Muslims that could include:
People who do not tauheed God, and this includes all people other than Muslims, even though they include the munafikin 'dressed' Islam, and also included in it that atheists do not believe in any god. Allah ta'ala says about the people hypocritical (which means), "Among mankind is he who says, 'We believe in Allah and the Last Day' when they were not people who believe." (Surah al-Baqarah: 8)
People who worship God but do not deny god besides Him, the idolaters who ascribe God in worship. They worship God and also worship other than Allah, this group was actually covered in the first category above. Allah ta'ala says about them (which means), "Verily, those who ascribe God, then God forbid it heaven, and his home is hell, and no helpers for those that do wrong." (Surah al-Ma ' Idah: 72). Allah Ta'ala also says about the status of god other than him (which means), "That is, because God is the only [god] is true while everything they cried / invoke besides Him is falsehood ..." (QS . al-Hajj: 62)
People who worship Allah alone and deny god besides Him but do not want to follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam after he was sent to them, just as the scribes in Yemen that didakwahi by Mu'adh ibn Jabal radhiyallahu'anhu. Therefore, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, that he was sent by God to teach the religion of Islam to all human beings-has been confirmed in his saying, from Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu, he said, "By God the soul of Muhammad in His hand . It is not one who heard the Prophethood among this people, whether he is Jewish or Christian, and he died in a state does not believe the treatise / courses that I take it but he must have belonged to the inhabitants of Hell. "(Narrated by Muslim, no. 153, see Muslim Syarh [2 / 243]). Therefore an-Nawawi rahimahullah give chapter title for this hadith with the title 'Liability faith of the minutes of our Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam which applies to all human beings and the abolition of all religion with religion '(see Syarh Muslim [2 / 242])
